Christians in ancient Galatia had forgotten why they should serve God. Even worse, false teachers were trying to convince them that they had to follow the rules, the laws, for God to like them. They were trying to get the Galatians to join their group against the Apostle Paul who taught them something different, the true gospel, the real reasons why they should serve God. Galatians 4:8-20
