Flip The Switch, part 1

In the second part of our series on Ephesians we follow Paul as he moves from finding identity to showing us how to live. When our truest identity is rooted in Christ it flips a switch changing how we think, how we act, how we speak and how we live. In part one of our second series we discuss what it means to have a mind changed by Christ because when Christ is the center of who we are, how we think is no longer the same.

How we see things determines how we act. When we see the world through a lens focused on eternity we learn to let go of what is here and focus on what really matters- being united to Jesus.

Switch Your Language

Through faith the truest part of who we are is rooted in Christ. He is the source of our identity. As a result of our faith our minds are renewed and the way that we think and act is different than it was before. A switch is flipped and we begin to live out our true identity. One of the things that changes is how we speak and the language we use. Because of Jesus we are new creations and how we talk reflects the love Christ has poured out on us.
