When we become more mature in our faith and when we walk closer and closer with Jesus, our hearts and our lives begin to be more like his. What matters most to him begins to matter most to us. Our heart becomes excited over things that makes Jesus’ heartbeat faster, and our heart breaks over things that break his heart. When our faith deepens, our concern for lost people deepens, and our willingness to talk about our faith and share our faith increases.
