Jesus spent his final moments before his trial and execution with his closest friends and the Lord. He used these difficult moments to prepare for the even more challenging road ahead. As Jesus prepare himself, we can learn how we should prepare ourselves for Good Friday and Easter.

The disciples had no idea what was coming. Despite the fact that Jesus had told them he was going to die and come back, they still didn't understand. For his final days with the disciples, he tried to prepare them for what was going to come. Today's message as Jesus prepares his disciples for his death and resurrection, he prepares us as well.

Preparing the Way

This is a story about a group of unnamed disciples who had no key role in Jesus’ ministry. But Jesus called them, gave them authority, and sent them out to prepare the way for him. This would be a great way to prepare for Easter- to make the world ready for Jesus’ coming.
