It is impossible to grow into the mature believer that Christ desires without the encouragement, support, teaching, love, and accountability of other members of the body of Christ. Let’s discover why the church is so important. I want Christ Community Church to be this kind of church. Wouldn’t you like people to say, “Christ Community Church is the place where I was accepted, loved, taught, and given an opportunity to express my faith?” Let’s become that kind of church.

What comes to your mind when you hear terms like “the spiritual world” or “spiritual warfare?” For some people, spirituality isn’t real- it’s either imaginary or symbolic, because their worldview is rooted in science and objectivity. Other people’s experience with the supernatural is shaped by Hollywood movies like The Exorcist or Ghostbusters. Other people are so sensitized to the spirit world that they are convinced demons are to blame when they spill their coffee or have a flat tire.
