An important part of recovery is stated in Principle 8 which goes with Step 12: Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and by my words. Learning to yield to His will, setting aside our own, allows us to be used in a way that not only blesses others but ourselves as well as we grow in our relationship with Him. When we say 'Yes', great things will happen because we serve a loving, gracious, caring God.
