Today is Missions Sunday 2023. Sharing what God has been working and moving all

throughout the year, around the world and in our community.

Today we are also highlighting Youth for Christ of Polk County. Youth for Christ is reaching young people with the love of Jesus everywhere and Christ Community Church has been supporting Youth for Christ close to 20 years.

Eric Holm, the Executive Director tells us how God is using Youth for Christ to reach young people everywhere. Working together with a local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus, who lead by their godliness and lifestyle, devotion to prayer and the word of God.

Having the passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement, Youth for Christ has been doing this since 1944, with large rallies reaching young people. In fact back in the days, there was a little known evangelist that was involved, first full-time staff member for Youth for Christ, named Billy Graham, began this movement and mission of Youth for Christ, which now has moved into communities and into Juvenile Justice facilities to reach young people.
