This pattern of prioritizing human approval over God’s authority led to his downfall and rejection as king. Through Saul’s story, we are reminded that fearing man leads to compromise and separation from God, but revering and trusting in God leads to life and blessing. This episode challenges us to examine our own hearts: Are we living to please others, or are we walking in faithful obedience to God?
