Romans 3:23

October 3, 2021 • Joe Coffey • Romans 3:23, Romans 1:18, Romans 1:26–32, Romans 3:22–23

Pastor Joe is back for Week 3 of our message series, “10 Sentences To Change Your Life.” Today, we focus on the words of Romans 3:23:

“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

In a world where we are constantly seeking to justify ourselves and separate into categories of“ us” versus “them,” Paul shows us that we all belong in the same group: sinners.

Jesus came and saw the mess we made and offered to clean it up. Through life-changing grace, we can live both in humility and security. We can love and forgive deeply because we are deeply loved and forgiven.

The challenge this week is a big one: to recognize and take ownership of our sin.

This week, confess your shortcomings to God and a trusted friend. If there is something you have been hiding in your heart, now is the time to confess.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But all have been offered a sinless Savior who exceeds every expectation in perfect glory.
