Showing Honor

Everybody knows we are to honor, but hardly anyone knows how to define it. We can describe it - stand up when someone walks into the room, listen intently, a moment of silence. Honor is hard to define, but it’s unmissable when you experience it. Paul says if ever there should be a place to show honor to one another - it’s the church.
Battle Ready

In 1 Timothy 4, Paul calls Timothy to fight three battles. This idea of being a soldier and fighting the good fight, is throughout 1 Timothy. Paul is speaking into Timothy to fight the good fight - the three battles mentioned in ch. 4 are battles you will fight and today is the day we have victory over these battles.
