The Rule & Return of Christ

Pastor Chad spoke on the rule and return of Christ, highlighting how Jesus's kingdom differs from earthly kingdoms. While we often focus on borders or rulers, Jesus's kingdom starts in our hearts, fueled by the Holy Spirit. From a small group of believers, it has grown to over 2.3 billion followers.

He also reminded us of Jesus's image of his return—as a bridegroom coming for his bride. In the waiting, we're called to live with anticipation and hope, looking forward to the joy of his return.

Resurrection of the Body and the Life Everlasting

Today, we wrapped up our We Believe series with the final line of the Apostles’ Creed: “the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.” Pastor Chad reminded us that our hope goes beyond heaven to a future where God renews all things. Until then, we’re called to live with purpose, anchored in the hope of what’s to come.

The Forgiveness of Sins

Pastor Chad's sermon focused on "the forgiveness of sins," as described in the Apostles' Creed. He reminded us that everyone falls short of God's standards through our actions, attitudes, and very nature. However, Jesus' sacrifice offers complete forgiveness—past, present, and future. We don’t have to earn this forgiveness; it’s a gift we accept.
