We would love to invite you to join us on Saturday, March 14th for the Sego's FREE Next Generation Gospel Concert with Special Guests, the Master Peace Quartet. A little history about the Sego's: In 1919, My grandparents began singing the gospel and ministering around the South and Middle Georgia area as the Sego Family. It was in the late 30’s that their children, one being my father started singing and ministering with them. Every decade since, the Sego Family have been ministering in song. In 1958, Sego Brothers and my Aunt Naomi became well known in the Southern Gospel Music realm. The Sego Family have recorded over 50 albums, appeared on TV and Radio programs introducing many songs to Southern Gospel Music. During that time they would also be inducted into the Southern Gospel Music Hall of Fame and perform the Gospel Dove Awards. After Lamar, my dad, left the group in the early 70’s, our family begin singing as The Lamar Sego Family until 2004. After Pastoring locally for 19yrs, the Lord lead me to start my family group ministry known as Segos The Next Generation. My wife, Dina, daughter, Kimmie and myself travel across the United States singing and ministering. God opened a door for us to record our first project in 2015 and a second one last year celebrating "Our Heritage" 100yrs. Here we are in 2020, continuing to sing the songs passed down from generation to generation. We are so very grateful and feel blessed to have this heritage and it is our goal to continue this family tradition in Southern Gospel Music lifting up the Name of Jesus as the Lord leads and guides.
