Would you consider yourself a bold follower of Jesus? How often are you ready to defend the gospel? All these questions would lead to this one larger question: are you ashamed of the gospel? Paul was not ashamed of the gospel; he not only shared it in words but also showed it in his actions. Join us for our study as we see why Paul was unashamed of the gospel!   Here are some helpful links for you!    Want to know more about Christ Bible Church? August 9, 2023 • Pastor Steven Pettis Jr • Matthew 28:16–20

How often do you pay attention to The Scriptures? Do you take what Christ says seriously? Who do you trust - your word versus God’s Word? Do you argue with Scripture? Jesus commanded us to Go and make disciples, not to stand at the door of the church and say come in! Today we explore our Mission as followers of Christ and all that this entails. Join us in our new sermon series, “He’s Looking for You,” as we discover the many people Jesus encountered and left them changed. Jesus says in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Join Pastor Steve in the introductory sermon, “He’s looking for you!” The psalmist was correct when he said, this is the day the Lord has made, and guess what we should do? Rejoice and be GLAD in IT! Welcome to Christ Bible Church online worship space! He's Looking For You, Even At Your Worst

October 11, 2023 • Pastor Steven Pettis Jr • Luke 23:33–39

As you play back your life, what are the defining moments of your life? The thief on the cross had his defining moment as he hung on the cross beside Jesus.  Jesus forgave those persecuting Him, even before they repented. Jesus went to The Father on our behalf, asking for our forgiveness. He continues to show us His love for us even when we miss the mark.   Here are some helpful links for you!    Want to know more about Christ Bible Church? A Devotion to Christ, Requires A Defense For Christ

August 16, 2023 • Pastor Steven Pettis Jr • 1 Peter 3:13–16

How do you know if you are committed to something or someone? We display how devoted we are to something or someone by how we spend our time, money, how we think and behave and even our motives. Our devotion as believers belongs to the Lord first. We should be careful not to let our devotions to other small things take over our lives in such a way that we forget the main thing. Today we look at how our lives should reflect our devotion to Christ.  Here are some helpful links for you!    Want to know more about Christ Bible Church?
