Fall 2020

Four Kinds of Roads

November 8, 2020

Walking with Jesus leads to four different types of road. Each one of those roads describes the condition of our lives. There is one road that leads to abundant living that is far greater than anything we could have imagined. Let’s celebrate the blessings of God when we walk with Jesus.

Division is Deadly

November 1, 2020 • Pastor Steve Wilmert

Potholes can cause flat tires and misalignment. Fighting against that pull can be exhausting. Jesus didn't do what most people expected Him to do, including His family. This caused division. Satan is real and would cherish the opportunity to cause division in the church, in your small group, in your marriage, in your walk with Jesus. Let's celebrate when we persevere through the challenging seasons together.

Who is Traveling with You?

October 25, 2020

Jesus taught the crowds. But Jesus traveled with twelve men He called to go with Him. Knowing the names of each of these guys tells us of the importance of intentionally inviting a handful of people to be your group. If Jesus needed to travel with others, we most certainly need traveling companions. Let’s celebrate every time someone finds and invests in their group.

Stopping for Refreshment

October 18, 2020

The Journey with Jesus isn't a sprint, it's a marathon. The trip will be exhausting if we don't stop along the way to be renewed and refreshed. There are practices of stopping that God gives us to restore us. Let's celebrate the intentional times of stopping that recharge our batteries.

Everyone is Invited on the Journey

October 11, 2020

Tax collectors were the worst! If you add in other people whose livelihoods were less than respectable, you would have a good list of people the religious establishment thought Jesus shouldn’t invest His time. Yet, these are the very people Jesus came for in the first place. Let’s celebrate when those who haven’t felt welcome join us in the adventure.
