God is working in our hearts love, confidence, and joy that is against the stream of secularism, godlessness, and worldliness in our society. Christianity is first and foremost a matter of the heart, not a matter of external performances. Peter teaches we are receiving the sanctification of our souls as we love Jesus, trust Jesus, and rejoice in Jesus. How do we live a joy-filled life out of the abundance of who we are in Jesus?
