Today we celebrate the independence of this great nation we call home. Together we celebrate the freedoms that have been provided by the sacrifice of so many who have gone before us. And while this very much feels like our home, the Bible reminds us that we are actually foreigners and exiles in this land and that our citizenship is ultimately in heaven.
