We can become bitter towards God when we become discontent with His blessings he gives us.
An example of this is Israel's constant complaining of God's supply of Manna that sustained them during their term in the wilderness.
Just like Israel, today many people bitter against God even go to extremes of wanting to exchange God to worship other False Gods.
Mainly wanting God's blessings instead of His truth+
