HOW to Contend for the Faith

Jude now instructs local churches how to contend for the faith with five application points. 1. You collectively must remember 2. You must keep yourselves in the love of God by... - building yourself up in the faith (studying/immersing in Scripture) - praying personally in the Spirit - waiting for the hope of the fully realized Gospel 3. Warn the doubting out of mercy/pity for them (those entering confusion from twisted teaching before outright compromise) 4. Seek to snatch those under eternal fire judgment (succumbed to falsity to such a degree that they may not be a believer) 5. Warn others in fear for yourself not succumbing to temptation
