Memory Care Ministry

Hospitality Room

September 3, 2026
5:30 - 7:30pm

Dementia affects memory, thinking, behavior, and emotions. Early symptoms may include memory loss, difficulty performing familiar tasks, language challenges, and changes in personality.

Most adults living with dementia receive care at home from family caregivers. In partnership with Atrium Health, our Memory Care Ministry offers a workshop designed to educate caregivers about dementia, connect them with local resources, and build meaningful relationships that continue beyond the workshop.

Please join us for our workshop. Over four sessions on September 3, 10, 17 and 24, we will cover:

- Caregiving and disease education

- Communication and behavior

- Supporting a loved one's independence

- Planning ahead

Registration is strongly encouraged to ensure we have enough materials for the event. Please click "register now" to complete this process.

Please call the church office at 704-289-3186 with any questions.
