For those of you who doubt God’s intimate care into the details of our lives, this sermon will encourage you to view God as a wonderful father, a compassionate son, and a personal spirit. No matter how difficult this world becomes, we can hold onto the hope that God really wants to have a relationship with us and He desires to be our friend.

RIGHTEOUS ANGER of God

The Bible calls God jealous several times, and yet for some individuals, it seems odd that God would be jealous. But once we understand that God’s loves us so much that He wants our hearts to be solely His, and when we reject Him, it makes Him jealous, this should grieve us. Often, we do not consider God’s anger, wrath and zealous nature, but all of these characteristics are part of His love. Walk away from this sermon convicted to live in loyalty to Jesus Christ so that He can see how much you love Him in return.

The FEAR of God

Maybe you have heard someone use the phrase He’s a God-fearin man or she’s a God-fearin woman and you have wondered what that means because we normally don’t talk like that anymore. But the Bible is full of references about fearing God. Learn what it means for a Christian to fear God in a healthy way and how to balance the fact that God is our friend and yet He is also separate from us in His holiness. Understand how to daily live out the idea of “perfect love drives out fear” and keep a reverence about the God of the universe.
