Every church must be diligent to make sure that the truth of God’s Word is guarded because certain individuals will try to creep in and dismiss correct theology. It seems that discernment has disappeared. In order to judge right and wrong correctly, you must understand and accept history. Jude gives us several examples from the past to remind us that God is sovereign (in control) and that certain sins are still evil in the eyes of God no matter what time period. Learn how important it is to know the biblical narratives and how we can discern how we are to live no matter how much pressure we have on us to cave into political correctness.
