What is your favorite Bible story? What makes it your favorite Bible story? Is it action packed or maybe You enjoy sarcasm and the particular Bible story you like expresses something a little sarcastic. Perhaps it is as simple as the fact that maybe you can picture yourself in the middle of the story. There may be a whole lot of reasons why —but one thing is for sure: as we look more and more into God‘s word – – we see how God used picture after picture to show us his love for us. Beginning Tuesday, July 12 at 6:30 PM Central Institute is going to be presenting an interesting class. One where we will be able to: “Delight in God’s Pictures.” In each of the three sessions we will start the class with teaching that encourages discovering God’s pictures through scripture. (Melissa Soldner, Teacher) The second portion of the class will be dedicated to actually creating a canvas inspired by a specific picture that God has given us in scripture. Christina Holman will be doing the “hands-on” portion of the class— she is an artist and she will meet you at the level that you are. So this is for both beginners and for those who are more artistic. She is patient and kind and I’m sure you will enjoy working with her.
