As we conclude this glorious picture of heaven, we are reminded that the whole Bible has been leading us to this point: we will see God face to face. This is the promise of eternal life, that we will experience the fullness of all that God created us for. The glory of heaven is shown as the physical creation is restored, and his people are reflecting his glory and reigning with him.

The Risen Christ

The risen Christ must be embraced as the loving, eternal God who died to save us and then came to life to defeat death and give us eternal life. To do this, we need to see Him for who He really is, we need to experience the powerful touch of His mighty right hand, and we must hear & believe His words to us.

The Glory Of The Living One

Despite the incompatibility of God’s glory and our sin, through Christ’s death and resurrection we are offered comfort and invited to live without any fear of death. Because Jesus rose from the grave he can rightfully proclaim that he is the Living One who has full authority over death.

Love & Forgiveness

Good Friday is a reminder of just how much it cost to forgive our sins. When we realize that our sins cost Jesus his very life, we are humbled to see not only God’s justice, but his incredible love for us. At the cross we see the reminder of his love in freeing us from our sins and making us his own.
