On Easter Sunday we celebrate the real Jesus; the Jesus who died in our place, rose victorious, and is alive forevermore. This Jesus is more powerful than we assume, more loving than we can imagine, and more trustworthy than we dare hope.

The Risen Christ

The risen Christ must be embraced as the loving, eternal God who died to save us and then came to life to defeat death and give us eternal life. To do this, we need to see Him for who He really is, we need to experience the powerful touch of His mighty right hand, and we must hear & believe His words to us.

The Glory Of The Living One

Despite the incompatibility of God’s glory and our sin, through Christ’s death and resurrection we are offered comfort and invited to live without any fear of death. Because Jesus rose from the grave he can rightfully proclaim that he is the Living One who has full authority over death.

Love & Forgiveness

Good Friday is a reminder of just how much it cost to forgive our sins. When we realize that our sins cost Jesus his very life, we are humbled to see not only God’s justice, but his incredible love for us. At the cross we see the reminder of his love in freeing us from our sins and making us his own.
