Gifting your talents and time is just as important as monetary giving. We gift love, hospitality, talents, hope, prayer, and forgiveness in our efforts to show generosity and bless others. By blessing others through generosity, we are fulfilling God's greatest commandments. Class will begin after 9am.

Our generosity blesses others by meeting their legitimate needs, modeling a different joy, and making the good news available for everyone. By our generous giving, we help model God's love for people by meeting their needs. Our giving shows to others that our true joy is in the love of God and not our possessions/stuff. Salvation is FREE, but getting the message of salvation into the world must be funded! Class will begin after 9am.

God's Ownership of All and Stewardship As we continue in the focus that our generosity blesses God, we recognize God's Ownership of EVERYTHING. As disciples, we never truly possess God's resources (His stuff) ...we are simply managing (stewarding) it, and the generous application of God's stuff is what blesses God. As disciples, we manage God's possessions and support His Kingdom with our faithful stewardship.

The Holy Spirit in Our Context
December 14, 2022 • Mic Biesboer
This session wraps up our series on the Holy Spirit with Mic Biesboer. There are some passages in the New Testament that seem more filled with mystery than clear answers regarding the work of the Holy Spirit. But the most important thing for us is paying attention to what the Holy Spirit is up to in our church and then inviting people to use their gifts. We live in Amarillo, but we are a part of the Kingdom of God. We are followers of Christ, and the Spirit helps us become missionaries—light in the world.
