Peer Pressure

The Root Of My Evil

June 16, 2024 • Jon Henninger

The account of the beheading of John the Baptist outlines one of the most wicked and evil acts recorded in The Bible.  Yet, even some of the most tragic accounts, by some of the nastiest people in scripture, provide lessons for us to learn from today.

Each week, we will look at one person who played a part in the death of John the Baptist.  We will explore their motives with the intent of exposing the Root of our Evil.

Looking at the life of Herod teaches us about the power of peer pressure.  He cared more about what the people around him thought, than doing what was right…and it led him to evil.
