FIRST READ: John 16:5-15
Q: Why didn’t the disciples ask Jesus “where are you going?” At this point, who whom were they most concerned? (v. 5)

Q: Why did the disciples have hearts filled with “sorrow?” Where did their sorrow come from? What were they sorrowful about? (v. 6)

Q: Why is it to the disciple's advantage if Jesus goes away? How does this directly benefit Jesus’ followers? How does this benefit those who follow Christ today (v. 7)

Q: What are the primary tasks assigned to the Holy Spirit? (v. 8) How does Jesus clarify these three tasks? (v. 9-11)

Q: What does Jesus mean when He says, “The ruler of this world has been judged?” (v. 11) How does this affect Jesus’ followers today, and in the future? (Rev. 12:17)
