When the Heart Speaks EVERYONE Listens

September 24, 2023 • GiGi Johnson, LUT

What you feel in your heart is immediately projected to anyone within eight to ten feet of your heart's electromagnetic field.    The message spoken by the heart is an intelligent language that significantly influences how we perceive and react to the world around us. "...it is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks" (Luke 6:45 - NRSV)

Memes Matter

When it comes to individuals, we may be multi colored depending on the value system we are using for a lens. Someone may be Blue (authority and discipline) when it comes to family, Orange (self-mastery/interest) in their business values, and Green environmentally and Yellow in our spirituality. Ponder, "What Color is Your Christ?" New Here? The Shadow Knows

July 9, 2023 • Rev. Linda Taylor

As we grow up spiritually, we discover that it’s not about the difficult situation as much as it is about how we are being with the situation. Most people believe that the difficulty is in the situation, not in them. Yet, if we are working on living from our core spiritual principles we know that is not Truth. So, how I am being with what I am having determines my experience of it. We vision a sustainable and resilient space that offers a safe place for everyone to be free to discover their own divine nature. New Here? Palm Sunday Hand Washing Ceremony

April 2, 2023 • Rev. Linda Taylor

“He laid aside his outer garments, and taking a towel, tied it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples' feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him” John 13:1–5 This humble act brought Jesus and his disciples together in a deeper way, perhaps, than ever. Certainly, it displays Jesus’ humility, and for the disciples, it must have been an illustration of solidarity and of kindness. Join us to experience a symbolic version of Jesus’ act, when the Care Team, and those in the congregation who wish to, will take part in a hand-washing ceremony (using disposable washcloths for the sake of hygiene). This promises to be a powerful service that also features music from the Wing and a Prayer Chorale, and much more. New Here? Isaac and Ishmael

October 2, 2022

Peace in the face of conflict has never been easy. All you have to do is look on social media today or on any news channel to see that our world has found it far easier to elevate the demonization of our so-called opponents – anyone who may think differently than we do. Join us for this message as we look at the Old Testament story of how two men came together in the face of conflict to share God's love and how they taught us that when faced with conflict in our own lives, we can do the same.
