NYE Burning Bowl

December 31, 2022 • GiGi Johnson, LUT

For centuries, indigenous groups used smoke as a symbol of their thoughts and prayers rising to the Great Spirit. The purpose of this ceremony is to shift your consciousness. It’s about becoming still, naming what you want to release, and letting it go. When we let go and let God, we experience freedom. Letting go opens us to the power of inspiration, insight, wisdom, and love. Join Gigi Johnson, LUT for this powerful ceremony as you focus on the symbolic release of that which no longer serves you, or never did, making room in your life for the good. It offers a sacred way to release negativity and welcome new beginnings in 2023.

White Stone Ceremony

January 1, 2023 • Rev. Linda Taylor

This ceremony can be very powerful and can transform your life and the lives of others.   Each person will be presented with a white stone. During the course of the service, Rev. Linda will guide us through a meditation to help connect with Spirit. You will be invited to ask for guidance on what your word or words will be for the year that will represent your highest intention. That word is then written upon the white stone and serves as a reminder of our intention in 2023.    The idea of the White Stone ceremony comes from Revelation 2:17: “Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. I’ll give the sacred manna to every conqueror; I’ll also give a clear, smooth stone inscribed with your new name, your secret new name.”
