The entire Bible is the story of God’s creation, redemption and reconciliation with mankind. The largest sections of the Bible are broken up between the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament. There are, by God’s prophetic design and foresight, many signs in the Old that point to what is to come in the New. In this series we’ll look at the lives of characters in the Old Testament in order to recognize the signs of God’s coming work in the New. We’ll begin with a comparison between Joshua and Jesus.
