Boundaries - Part 1

May 2, 2017 • Pastor Ray and Elizabeth McCollum

In this session's REALTALK, Elizabeth and I will continue to look at the spiritual nature of "boundaries" and why they are critical to successful Christian living. I'm attaching a powerful excerpt from Dr. Cloud's book, "Ten Laws of Boundaries", which will help you be prepared to get the most our of our time together and help us as we move into our discussion time. This material is extremely practical; it will help you help yourself and others.

April 4, 2017 • Pastor Ray and Elizabeth McCollum

Whoever told you that God doesn't allow His children to be tested will lie to you about other things, too. Pastor Ray and Elizabeth will be sharing what they've learned about the "seasons" of life and how God uses the cycles of "blessing" and "testing" to promote us in the school of Christ.

Walk With Forbearance

March 28, 2017 • Pastor Ray and Elizabeth McCollum

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, with all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love… Ephesians 4:1-2 Someone once said that the Body of Christ “runs on longsuffering and “four bearings”. It’s true. Learning how to be patient with others and make allowances for their eccentricities is essential if we want successful human relationships, especially with our spouse and with our friends. In this week’s Realtalk, Pastor Ray and Elizabeth will be sharing what 50 years of marriage has taught them about the importance of forbearance.
