This Easter we consider the greatest event in human history: the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. But what does this resurrection of Christ mean for our lives today? The apostle Paul applies the death and resurrection of Christ to his life in Galatians 2:20 and this passage gives us three questions to ask ourselves:
1. Have you been crucified with Christ?
2. Does Christ live in you?
3. Do you live by faith?
Good Friday
March 29, 2024 • Shad Baker • 1 John 3
On this Good Friday, we consider the death of Christ and what that death means for our life today. 1 John 3:16 speaks of Christ’s death this way: "By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers."
Today we consider how the great love of Christ covers our great sin and gives us great security.
