They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead—Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.” 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10

There are 3 characteristics of their faith I think you and I should aspire to have that I believe would impact our world in a huge way if we had their kinds of faith:

1 st: Faith that is proven by action.

2 nd: Faith that is tested by suffering.

3 rd: Faith that is spread by sharing.
