When we come and open the Word of God together, my prayer is that it is a time of refuge from all the pressures and chaos of our culture and from our own sin that 'so easily entangles'. A time of reflection as we let the living Word of God penetrate and examine our hearts and minds. A time of remembrance, as the scriptures show us the awesome goodness of God in Jesus Christ our Lord.

And that because of all these things we find ourselves free to worship!
Not, 'try harder', not 'do more'', not 'be better', but worship! Worship that purifies our hearts, impacting our lives and the people and places we encounter, with the power and wisdom of the cross for the fame and glory of His name!
