We need to understand what John really meant in order for us to truly follow its command. POINT 1: PRACTICE RIGHTEOUSNESS A. Imputed Righteousness  B. Imparted Righteousness  POINT 2: LAY DOWN OUR LIVES 1. Resources 2. Actions POINT 3: LOVE FROM GOD’S APPROVAL

Bear with One Another

April 30, 2023 • Nate Gallagher • Ephesians 4:1–6

This sub-series of Sidesteps starts with looking at some of the over 50 "One Another" statements in the Bible. In this episode, Nate points out OUR CALL to BEAR with One Another. We must then use OUR ACTIONS to implement our mentality of Lowliness/Gentleness, and OUR COMMUNITY in Long-suffering/Bearing-with/and Keeping Unity with our fellow believers and others we wish to attract to our community. Quote: “In the beginning the church was a fellowship of men and women centered on the living Christ. Then the church moved to Greece, where it became a philosophy. Then it moved to Rome, where it became an institution (Holy Roman empire). Next, it moved to Europe, where it became a culture. And, finally, it moved to America, where it became an enterprise.” -Halverson
