Encounters happen in the midst of a difficult season. Paul states of many good and not so good, encounters (even to the point of death) in the 14 years since his conversion. In this letter he gives a brief notation of his vision of Paradise. How Paul reacted (v8) - by pleading (prayer); How Jesus responded (v9) - by giving Grace, His giving nature; and the Result (v10) - by showing in Paul's weakness he found his strength came through the Lord.
