We’re currently studying the book of Hosea, a book contained in a section of scripture that is often ignored, or at least underestimated. I’m referring to the minor prophets at the end of the Old Testament. Today we wrap up our study of Hosea Chapters nine through eleven, and the numerous chances God gave Israel to repent. We'll also see how in the same way, God gives us many, many chances to turn away from our sin, and turn back to Him. Many may ask what the outcome of rebellion against God might be.

They are referred to as the “minor prophets” because of their relatively short length, but their message is not minor at all. Pastor Lloyd will begin the series today in Hosea, and you’ll find Hosea right after Daniel. If you’ve never read Hosea, you’re in for a real treat. It’s one of the most interesting books in the Bible, and a great testament to God’s power and His love.

Today on Bridging the Gap, we’ll conclude Pastor Lloyd Pulley’s look at the Lord’s letter to the Laodiceans in Revelation three, verses fourteen through twenty-two. In this case, heat would be a good thing. The Lord wanted his churches to be on fire for the Gospel, but the Laodiceans were lukewarm. In many respects, this is worse than being completely cold, and we’ll find out why on today’s program.
