Our hope is described as an anchor of the soul in the book of Hebrews. And it’s important to reiterate that “hope” as we know it, has nothing to do with uncertainty surrounding our salvation. Through simple faith and repentance of sin, we are assured of a place in heaven. Our hope lies in our knowledge that there are events that will take place that every Christian should be looking forward to. That’s our great hope!

The Book of Malachi gives us great insight into the heart of God, along with practical guidelines about commitment to Him. God deserves the very best we have to offer. But chapter four, verse eleven tells us that those who have rejected Him will be straw--to be burned up.
