We just began a new series in Joshua last time, so you haven’t missed much. Moses has just gone to be with the Lord and the mantle of leadership has been passed to Joshua. God tells Joshua he’s going to lead the people into the Promised Land. Joshua had challenges behind and in front of him that’s for sure, and he could have easily become discouraged. So the Lord has an encouraging word for him, and us!
