Coming now to verse 11 we encounter the first woman discussed in the Gallery of Faith – Abraham’s wife Sarah. Someone once said,
"Behind every great man ... is a great woman."
Such was the case with this woman of faith. She is the principle matriarch in Hebrew history as well as in Hebrews 11.
