The people of Israel, fleeing from Egypt, found themselves in the wilderness, without food or water. Now, God was fully prepared to feed them, and teach them a lesson about trust and faith. God, being the omniscient and omnipotent God that He is, also knows very well what WE need to survive - and to flourish. So why is it so hard for us to rely completely on Him?
