We are in the middle of a new series from pastor Lloyd called “True Worship”. A lot of people worship God in a lot of different ways. Many of them would be considered proper, and many of them would not. As Pastor Lloyd takes us to the first two verses of Romans chapter twelve today, see if your worship is proper, by God’s standard. People become involved in ministry for a variety of reasons, and unfortunately, some of those reasons are impure. When that happens, the Church suffers the consequences. Paul did not seek money or fame by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He did so with a pure and loving heart. Unfortunately, we see the opposite is true in many pulpits today. Likewise, if God wants us to do something, He will give us the strength and courage to do it regardless of any obstacle or consequence that may be in our way.
