WHY WE DO YOUTH RETREATS

Our youth retreats are a great time to disconnect from the distractions of the world for the life of a Jr. Higher and reconnect or connect for the first time with God. Retreats historically have been a powerful moment where God shows up for students and leadership as well.

The theme for this year’s summer retreat is Reverse the Curse taken from Revelation 21:4.

I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”

The guest speaker for the retreat is Pastor Gabe Garcia of Mt. Pleasant Christian Church in Bedford, Indiana.
