In the first several verses of Acts chapter nineteen, we find Paul in Ephesus, talking to a group of disciples who are sharing God’s love, but have never even heard of the Holy Spirit! Now, their motivation was pure, but their doctrine was incomplete. Many Christians today tend to talk about God’s magnificent love, and Jesus’ atoning death on the cross, but neglect the role the Holy Spirit plays in our lives.
