God created man to have a relationship with Him. But it is quite clear our need is more than just a superficial relationship with God and one another. Superficial religion and ritual is the problem not the cure. Jesus gets at the heart of all this in His teaching recorded by Matthew in his gospel and is the subject of today’s Bridging the Gap. The difference between Christianity and other religions is Christianity is NOT a religion - it’s a relationship!
