If we were to put ourselves in her place, I think we could understand her shock and surprise when Jesus told her things about herself that a stranger simply wouldn’t know. But the bottom line here is that Jesus told her the truth - and that’s how He should be worshipped - in spirit and in truth.

The two main differences are - Christians serve a risen God, and there are no “works” required to get to Heaven for the born again Christian.
