Looking Ahead to "Greater Than"

Greater Than Preview/Devotional

August 31, 2020 • Ryan Stiles

Redemption Jasper Campus Minister Ryan Stiles gives us a preview to our upcoming series "Hebrews: Greater Than."

Beginning this Sunday, Redemption will begin a ten-week study of the New Testament book of Hebrews, broken down into three sermon series. In Hebrews, we see three major — and continual — themes. First, Jesus Christ is greater than any angel, priest, or old covenant practice. Second, Christians must not forsake the great salvation that Jesus has brought about. And third, believers must hold on by faith to the true rest found in Christ, and must encourage others in the church to do the same.

The series Greater Than will be Sept. 6 to 27, Shadows is planned for Oct. 4 to 18, and Unshakable Kingdom is slated for Oct. 25 to November 8. Additionally, we will have several resources launching next week, including a dedicated Web page with series devotionals, a reading plan, and a special podcast from Spiritual Formations Minister Richard Crabtree to help you in this study. Don't miss this great opportunity to grow in your faith by diving into God's word on a deeper level.
