Like a spotlight in the sky, the Church shining brilliantly in the darkness is the way to get people's attention and get them to come to the light of Christ. Having the Word of life held fast in our hands and then offering it to others is how we reflect the life and love of God. Let's pray once more for His help to shine like never before in this generation.
Sounding Forth

Early Macedonian Believers got it: they were not brought into God's family to keep it to themselves. To serve the true and living God, having the Word of the Lord sound forth from them into the whole region of Macedonia and Achaia--as they eagerly waited for Jesus' return--was seen as a privilege and a call. Let's pray the same: that God's Word would sound forth from us, all around our region.
