In chapter 2, Paul is instructing Pastor Titus on how to teach the church to live godly "in this present age," which continually tries to call us into its emptiness. But Paul reminds us that we live for something greater than here, but Him, as we await the "blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ" (verse 2:13).
