Revelation 10:1-11 | The Mighty Angel and the Little Book

April 14, 2024 • Pastor Ray Bollas • Revelation 10

The Apostle John in this chapter is told to keep prophesying, and he does until he finishes telling the world what God has said in all 22 chapters. He is giving a book to eat, which was sweet to his mouth but bitter to his stomach. Our chapter before us today is the same calling, to keep telling all Jesus is coming, and the same bitter and sweetness when some receive and some reject the Word we share.

In our passage we will look at the Two Witnesses who preach for 3.5 years in Jerusalem. They will breath fire, shut the heavens from rain, and strike the earth with plagues. They will be killed, and all the earth will celebrate, but after 3.5 days God will raise them back to life, and call them Home. Who are they and why does it matter to us today, join us to find out.
